The track, which will run as both morning and afternoon embedded tutorials on Wednesday Nov. 8, is an integral part of the conference which will be held November 5-9, at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California. The track organizer is Professor Margarida Jacome from the University of Texas at Austin. The Nanotechnology Track at ICCAD focuses on critical issues including emerging nanoelectronics, and the integration of nanoelectronics, bioelectronics and MEMS/NENS. The software is known as The System to Augment Non-speakers' Dialogue Using Puns (Standup).The programme allows the youngsters to generate puns, helping them overcome language barriers. It has been developed by researchers at Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh universities and successfully trialled by eight pupils at a Glasgow school.
